Designed by Tara Evans of Taralee Quiltery

About the 2021 Block of the Month

Mother is an unique block-of-the-month pattern made of 12 teardrops. Each teardrop represents a current crisis experienced by our planet and it’s inhabitants. Techniques include: traditional piecing, foundation paper piecing, applique, reverse applique, and embroidery.

The pattern is live in Tara's shop! For guild members the cost IS NOT $25. Tara has created a discount code for guild members to use, it will give them $12 off so that the pattern is right around the $10 mark (price is in Canadian $). The code is located in our members only page. (Password is on your membership card!)

About Tara Evans:

Taralee.jpeg

I enjoy every step of the process; from designing to long arm quilting. I have never once sewn from another maker's pattern! Wrapping my head around things and figuring out how to make them has fuelled my creative process since the beginning. Painting was my original outlet, I studied Fine Art at Brigham Young University. Soon after I had my children, I started sewing for them. In 2018 I designed and made my first quilt pattern and I was hooked! Taralee Quiltery is a way for me to share my art with the world and give other access to my creative process by purchasing my patterns to make their own art. My patterns are sold on an individual level, printed and pdf, as well as on a wholesale scale. I am also an instructor.
