2026 Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show
We’re excited to share that the Portland Modern Quilt Guild will once again be exhibiting at the Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show on July 11, 2026!
This year’s theme is Vintage Game Boards—a playful celebration of creativity and connection, inspired by the shapes, grids, pathways, and color palettes of classic board games, reimagined through a modern quilting lens.
We received so many incredible submissions for this special exhibit—thank you to everyone who shared their work. Congratulations to the quilts selected for this year’s show! 🎉

PMQG Volunteer Opportunities at Sisters Quilt Show
As we get closer to show time in Sisters, we’re looking for volunteers to help throughout the day on Saturday, July 11th!
Volunteer opportunities include:
• Quilt hanging/set-up (8:00–10:00 AM)
• Hosting our display area during the show (Shifts from 10 am - Noon, Noon - 2 pm, and 2 pm - 4 pm)
• Quilt take-down (4:00–5:00 PM)
Set-up and take-down are simple tasks — quilts are clipped to pre-strung lines using clothespins. Hosting the display area is a great way to meet fellow quilters, visitors, and instructors attending the show.
Partners are welcome to volunteer alongside you and do not need to be PMQG members.
We’ll have water available for volunteers along with a few goodies to share with visitors throughout the day.
