PRESENTATION TO GUILD

February 16, 2023

PMQG is excited to host Carole Lyles Shaw for a trunk show and talk on sustainable stashing where she will dazzle us with her tips for eco-friendly quilting and tips for using our stashes

Carole will also be holding a workshop on Saturday, February 18th teaching new improv techniques based on bringing new life to orphaned blocks. You can see samples and read more here.

Carole is a modern quilt designer, author, and workshop teacher who has been an active member of the quilt and fiber art community for over twenty-five years. Carole always takes a modern, improvisational approach to her quilt designs. Her passion and focus is on designing quilts for the modern quilt movement and she centers her lectures on topics relevant to this audience. She has served on the Board of the Modern Quilt Guild and is a co-founder of the Sarasota Modern Quilt Guild.

Carole has received many accolades and has exhibited her quilts and art all around the United States and internationally. She has authored two books on modern quilting; Madly Modern Quilts and Patriotic Modern Quilts
