Birdies Quilt Raffle in November
Sam Hunter's mini-group collaborated on this wonderful Birdies quilt, and they are raffling it for donations of underwear for Raphael House, the local shelter for battered women and their children, at the November meeting.
They are in need of NEW underwear in the following sizes:
Women's size XL to 4XL
Boys size 6 to 12
Girls size 6 to 12
NO cash donations - undies only please!
One pair of undies = one raffle ticket! Multi-packs of undies get one ticket per pair of undies in the pack!
They can't take undies from you at any other time than the November meeting - if you can't be there and want to donate, please send your undies with a friend.
This is our third fundraising quilt for Raphael House, and each time we received about 700 donations! We would love to break that record this time!!
Thank you, in advance, for helping us help Raphael House!

Photography for QuiltCon
Are you planning to enter QuiltCon? Do you need good images of your quilt for competition entries?
Matthew Stovall, Nancy Stovall, and Sam Hunter have teamed up to take competition images for the guild membership. We have SO many talented members in PMQG, and we want to support and encourage you to show your work at the national level!
Where: Sam Hunter's Studio in Beaverton (close to Washington Square Mall, directions will be sent to you when you confirm your appointment!)
When: Saturday Nov 17th, 1pm to 5pm
What you get: One full flat shot of the quilt + one detail shot of the quilt as appropriately sized JPGs, plus any outtakes of the photo session (both JPG and RAW). Images will be supplied on the spot via email (or bring a thumb drive). We will be using professional studio lighting and capturing the images live on-screen so you can choose your best image as we shoot.
What it costs: $50 donation which will be forwarded to the PMQG Scholarship Fund
How do you sign up? Email Sam at email@example.com to request an appointment slot (and let her know the approximate time you can come).
