This is a casual, virtual sew-together session using the New Year Blessings mini quilt pattern. In that session Wendy will briefly discuss what the Chinese character is in the pattern, the significance and the symbolism of colour in Asian cultures. Students would need to purchase the pattern prior to the workshop, as well as cut up the fabric pieces as there are quite a few moving pieces. Students will need to have basic knowledge on how to operate a sewing machine. At the end of the session students would walk away with a mini quilt top.
