EVEnts

The first events are our monthly meetings, where we host speakers, present a block of the month, make announcements and have our inspiring Show and Tell.  These meetings typically happen on the third Thursday of the month, but be sure to check out our event calendar, as there are some rare meetings we've had to move it to another Thursday. Please note, that these meetings are currently being held virtually on Zoom. Members are emailed a link prior to the start of the meetings.

We also offer a Charity Sew Day hosted by Cath Hall, our Charity Committee Chair. This is a once a month event, the schedule is dependent on Modern Domestic's class schedule, again, check out our monthly calendar or the Charity page for more information.  Everything is provided at this sew day, so all you need to bring is yourself.

There are quilt tops, blocks, and finished donations drop-offs and pick up of kits once per month. Please email the guild for directions to Cath’s house during Covid restrictions.

Special Events

Throughout the year, we invite national instructors to speak to our group and offer workshops.  We do our best to publicize the information to all of our social media, be sure to check out the workshop pages for the most up to date information.  Previous instructors include Chris Marchini, Irene Rodrrick, Alison Glass, Chawne Kimber, Kim Kight and Latifah Saafir, Anna Maria Horner and Denyse Schmidt.
