sandra clemons

Sandra Clemons began quilting in 2004, though, growing up in a Midwest family of DIY'ers, making and sewing have always been a big part of her life. Sandra worked as an auditor in public accounting for 15 years, until she became a mom. Her priorities shifted and she desired to mix the skills and talents she had gained from her career as an accountant with her passion for design and handmade.  Her company, Make It Blossom, was born and is now the label for her individual quilting and sewing patterns.

Sandra designs fabric collections for Michael Miller Fabrics.  Her quilts are featured in over 25 quilting & sewing magazines, and she is the author of Scrap Patchwork: Traditionally Modern Quilts.

We are very excited to have Sandra present a lecture and trunk show on September 21st (see September Meeting for more information), and a workshop on September 23rd.

Sandra will be teaching her quilt, Magic, which is made with templates, and is not paper pieced.  Workshop students will need to have the pattern, which is in Sandra's book, Scrap Patchwork: Traditionally Modern Quilts.  The book may be purchased on Sandra's website.
