Sandra Clemons began quilting in 2004, though, growing up in a Midwest family of DIY'ers, making and sewing have always been a big part of her life. Sandra worked as an auditor in public accounting for 15 years, until she became a mom. Her priorities shifted and she wanted to mix the skills and talents she had gained from her career as an accountant with her passion for design and handmade. Her company, Make It Blossom, was born and is now the label for her individual quilting and sewing patterns.
Sandra presented a lecture and trunk show at our meeting on September 21st, and taught a workshop on the quilt, Magic, from her book Scrap Patchwork: Traditionally Modern Quilts on September 23rd.
