Making Modern With Minimal Decisions Workshop with Stephanie Ruyle of @spontaneousthreads

  • Lagunitas Community Room 237 Northeast Broadway Street Portland, OR, 97232 United States (map)

Join Stephanie Ruyle of Spontaneous Threads as she introduces a whole new way to think about modern quilt creation! This workshop will focus on quilt design using minimal but complex seam construction. Stephanie will demonstrate how restricting aspects of construction can allow you to stretch your personal design possibilities. Participants can choose to create a quilt top, pillow, or table runner, all using 8 or fewer seams in the process.

This class is for all skills levels and design aesthetics - all you need is a keen sense of adventure and a willingness to look at design and construction from a new perspective! A supply list will be emailed to participants prior to the workshop.

Each participant will receive an assortment of four fat quarters provided by Fabri-Quilt from its Paintbrush Studio Painter's Palette Solids Collection to use in your project.  You will need to supply additional fabric for your project (details will be provided in the supply list).

Workshop is limited to 15 participants.  Sign up here.
